Former Lander University School of Business Dean Dr. Dale Molander and his wife Sandy have established an endowment to support faculty development in the College of Business. Dean Molander was the Dean of the College of Business from 1989 to 1999 and was very supportive of faculty development during his tenure. He strongly encouraged faculty to participate in conferences and seminars in order to enhance teaching effectiveness and research publications. Each year, the Dale and Sandy Molander Faculty Development Fund provides financial support for travel to conferences so faculty may gain additional knowledge, update their skills, and interact with colleagues in their teaching discipline. The College of Business is indebted to the Molanders for their continued support.
The College of Business is accredited by AACSB International, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. AACSB International is the premier accrediting body for business schools in the world. Less than 5% of business schools hold this accreditation distinction. The College of Business boasts an excellent faculty who are active scholars, excellent teachers, and solid contributors to university and community life. The Molander Fund helps faculty maintain scholastic and teaching credentials.
