First Citizens Bank Creates Lander Scholarship

First Citizens Bank in Greenwood has created a new scholarship at Lander University.

The First Citizens Bank Scholarship will benefit students who are South Carolina residents and are enrolled in Lander's College of Business and Public Affairs. The bank has also agreed to provide mentoring opportunities for Lander business students who might be considering a career in banking and investment in general. The relationship with students was described as a personal level of engagement with business leaders.

The scholarship will become available for the first time in the fall 2015 semester.

Tax-deductible contributions to the First Citizens Bank Scholarship may be made to the Office of University Advancement, Lander University, 320 Stanley Avenue, Greenwood, S.C.
