Shannon Slyman, Mark Pilgrim, and Krysta KennerlyLander University student Shannon Slyman, a senior exercise science major from Gaston; assistant professor of biology Dr. Mark Pilgrim and Krysta Kennerly, a senior athletic training major from Gaston, serve crockpot yogurt and other snacks made with the help of microbes following the "Unseen World of Microbes" day camp held recently at Lander. Asked if he was pleased with the camp, one of the Fuji Summer Science and Math Enrichment programs offered each year at Lander, Pilgrim said, "everything turned out perfectly except the yogurt.
