Lander Observes 'Study Abroad Week'

students visiting study abroad displayThe week of Jan. 30 - Feb. 3 is Study Abroad Week at Lander University and throughout the week students will have opportunities to learn more about Lander's international programs and talk with others who have studied at foreign universities. Pictured, from left, Lander visual arts majors Kaitlyn Crawford, of Saluda and Jessica Brown, of Belton, speak with Mary Meadows, a program advisor with Academic Studies Abroad, an organization that works with universities to offer international programs and provide assistance for students studying abroad. Lander students have studied in ASA programs across Europe and in South America. Other events scheduled for the week include an informational session with Dr. Roger Richardson, with the University of Winchester; a study abroad forum hosted by Lander's student chapter of People to People; and a presentation by students and staff involved with Lander's Asia Initiative.
