Lander offers several types of study abroad opportunities:

  • Faculty-led short-term Study Tours
  • Semester partner programs
  • Semester and summer affiliate programs
  • Internships and volunteering
  • Non-Lander programs

To research programs and apply to Lander study abroad, follow the steps below.

  • Create a personal profile on the Lander-Via TRM portal. Then take a look at the many different programs that are available to you and what those programs offer. Now is the time to start thinking about where you may want to study.
  • Schedule a meeting with the Director of Study Abroad to review your profile and your study abroad preferences and priorities.
  • Schedule a meeting with your academic major advisor(s) to discuss academic requirements and to identify potential classes or subjects that you will be able to take while abroad.
  • Consult with the Financial Aid office to determine what your aid package may be for your study abroad program.
  • Apply for Lander Study Abroad or a Lander Study Tour on the Lander-Via TRM portal. (Once you are accepted, you may need to apply separately to your chosen overseas institution.)
