Lander offers several types of study abroad opportunities:
- Faculty-led short-term Study Tours
- Semester partner programs
- Semester and summer affiliate programs
- Internships and volunteering
- Non-Lander programs
To research programs and apply to Lander study abroad, follow the steps below.
- Create a personal profile on the Lander-Via TRM portal. Then take a look at the many different programs that are available to you and what those programs offer. Now is the time to start thinking about where you may want to study.
- Schedule a meeting with the Director of Study Abroad to review your profile and your study abroad preferences and priorities.
- Schedule a meeting with your academic major advisor(s) to discuss academic requirements and to identify potential classes or subjects that you will be able to take while abroad.
- Consult with the Financial Aid office to determine what your aid package may be for your study abroad program.
- Apply for Lander Study Abroad or a Lander Study Tour on the Lander-Via TRM portal. (Once you are accepted, you may need to apply separately to your chosen overseas institution.)
