Nursing - Clinical Nurse Leader

Lander’s online Master of Science in Nursing-Clinical Nurse Leader program equips nurse generalists to serve as professional nurses with diverse skills and experience essential to the growing health care needs of the 21st century. The program’s online format offers working nurses the flexibility to coordinate their graduate studies with work schedules, and to complete clinical requirements close to home.

Emergency Management

Whether man-made or natural, the list of potential disasters to which our state, region and nation are vulnerable is sizeable. The online Master of Science in Emergency Management degree prepares graduates to provide expert guidance in all phases of a disaster – knowledge that is critical to economic development and continuity. The program’s curriculum was designed as a joint effort with government, nonprofit and business employers and agencies with emergency management responsibilities, including FEMA and the National Guard.

Teaching & Learning

With three concentrations – Diverse Learners, Instructional Technology, and Montessori Education – the M.Ed. in Teaching and Learning is an appealing option for academic and business professionals who want to take their careers to a new level. The program is intended for students with baccalaureate degrees who wish to pursue a graduate program that prepares candidates to meet the needs for highly qualified educators in several key areas.

Montessori Education

Lander’s M.Ed. in Montessori Education program makes it possible for certified teachers to obtain a master’s degree in Montessori education in as little as 18 months. Lander is one of the few colleges or universities in the country, and the only one in South Carolina, to offer undergraduate- and graduate-level Montessori teacher education degrees. Master’s candidates can select a program leading to American Montessori Society certification at one of three levels: early childhood, ages 3 to 6; elementary grades 1 to 3; and elementary grades 4 to 6.
