If you are already a registered nurse who graduated from a diploma or associate degree program and you would like to earn a bachelor’s degree, we have an online R.N. to B.S.N. option.
The R.N. to B.S.N. completion option features a practical, Web-based delivery. You can access classes at any time of day while acquiring professional-level knowledge and skills to practice nursing in traditional and diverse settings. You’ll also be prepared to enter graduate study in nursing and related fields.
You will need a total of 126 semester hours to graduate from Lander’s nursing program, with at least 30 hours of total semester credit earned through instruction by Lander. A minimum of 12 semester hours in required nursing courses must also be earned through Lander University.
As an R.N. to B.S.N. major, your required nursing courses will include: Enhanced Physical Assessment for RN’s; Research; Professional Transition/RN; Leadership and Management; Community Health Nursing; Professional Development in Nursing; Pathophysiology; and Wellness for Life. Nursing electives are also offered online.
In order to round out your bachelor’s degree in nursing, you’ll supplement your nursing courses with a diverse assortment of general education courses, from fine arts, literature and history to math, political economy and laboratory science. You can take these classes on campus at Lander – or you can transfer credit from an approved college or university to satisfy these requirements.
