I am excited that you are interested in the College of Arts & Humanities. Our dynamic academic programs as well as our gallery, studios, recital halls, radio and TV stations, and computer labs enable students to be mentored by faculty. Our students write for our campus newspaper and literary journal, showcase art in our gallery and in Uptown Greenwood, and perform on campus and throughout South Carolina. Organizations need employees who are creative and have strong communication skills, so our alumni have careers in art, advertising, communications, design, education, music, and public relations as well as in areas of business and government service. Before the final selection of the concert, Dr. Charles Neufeld and his wife, Dr. Judith Neufeld, who is also retiring from Lander, were recognized for their dedication to Lander University.
Thursday evening marked an important moment for Lander University art students. Students, families and friends gathered in Uptown Greenwood for the annual Art Walk, which showcased art and photography by Lander students across multiple locations.
Saturday, April 6, marked the third year in a row that a Lander University student has won the Triathlon Award from the South Carolina Speech and Theatre Association’s annual College Festival.
