The ASC offers free tutoring in many courses offered at Lander-sign up online or visit our office. The ASC Office is located in Genesis Hall - we are next to the Wellness Center and face the Science Building.
Students who are on academic probation are required to participate in the Student Academic Success Program (SASP) which provides an individualized plan for improving their academic status. Call or visit the ASC to meet with a SASP advisor.
The ASC provides advising to all students:
The Student Wellness Center of Lander University is the point of initial contact for all students with disabilities. The Disabilities Coordinator notifies the faculty of the appropriate accommodations for both the classroom as well as for testing, assures that students receive the necessary physical accommodations based on their medical condition, and stores all documentation relevant to students' disabilities. All accommodations are implemented according to ADA regulations.
The Academic Success Center provides required testing accommodations for students with disabilities based on the students’ accommodations provided by the Student Wellness Center.
For placement testing, accommodations will be made for physically disabled students or those with certified learning disabilities. Students requiring accommodations should call ahead so that arrangements may be made through the Academic Success Center at 864-388-8308.
Students with disabilities must contact:
