Day of Giving February 11-12, 2021
With your support, Lander University celebrated its 148th birthday in a big way by raising $40,000 during the university’s inaugural Day of Giving.
Donors were able to specify the area or program at Lander they wanted to support. While some chose to direct their gift to a precise scholarship, department or athletic program, others chose to give to the Lander Excellence Fund, which helps the university address its greatest needs. Some donors participated in matching challenges among alumni groups, fraternities and sororities, parent clubs, and academic and co-curricular activities.
Everyone Helped!
Support for Lander during the 24-hour campaign came from all areas of the Lander family. While 50 percent of the gifts came from Lander alumni, Lander staff generated 26.6 percent of the total. Lander faculty accounted for 13 percent of gift totals, and current Lander students participated as well.
It's Not Too Late
