Lander University business student receives Baker scholarship
Lander University sophomore Jasmine Brooks of Greenwood, a business administration major with health care management emphasis, has been awarded the Paul Livingston Baker Scholarship. The scholarship was established in memory of Baker, retired president, treasurer and manager of the Greenwood Coca-Cola Bottling Company, by his wife, 1940 Lander alumna Helen Rodgers Baker, and family. The scholarship, awarded on the basis of academic merit and leadership potential, is given annually to students majoring in the field of business who reside in the counties of Abbeville, Edgefield, Greenwood, Laurens, McCormick, Newberry or Saluda.
