Technology Learning Center
For Faculty and Staff
Welcome to the Technology Learning Center (TLC). Located on the top floor of Jackson Library, the TLC consists of two fully-equipped training rooms reserved for faculty and staff training.
Training Opportunities
Instructor Led Sessions
The TLC offers regular training sessions for university supported software applications such as WebCT CE6, Microsoft Office Applications, Email Management, OpenCms as well as many others.
Deskside Coaching
The TLC staff also offer more personlized training with deskside coaching. This can be at the user's office or in one of our training labs. Deskside coaching is offered for users who are trying to accomplish a specific task, or just need some personalized training. Deskside coaching is limited to 45 minute sessions.
On-line Self Help
We have a wealth of documentation for common tasks and programs. Self-help is ideal for users that like to tackle tasks themselves and can follow step-by-step instructions. We will continue to build our knowledge base with "how-to" and problem solving documents.
If you have questions, comments, or suggestions for future offerings, please feel free to contact us.
