SUMMER PROGRAM – UNIVERSITY OF STIRLING
The summer academic program is an accelerated program for full-time, part-time, and visiting students, delivered during the summer months of July and August. Summer program units have the same content, contact hours and assessment arrangements as in a normal 15-week semester but by means of a more intensive timetable are delivered over a shorter period. The program is designed to incorporate a range of social and cultural activities and will give you the opportunity to travel and experience more of Scotland.
Courses in the summer program are equivalent to 3 semester hour credits in the US
system.
2008 PROGRAM DATES: Block 1: June 16 – July 11 and / or Block 2: July 14
- August 8 (2 courses maximum per block). These courses will be offered:

Witchcraft in Early Modern Scotland
Classics of World Cinema
Creative Writing 2: Human Spaces
Sports Management & Culture: A European Perspective
Scottish History: The Jacobites
Religion and Conflict
APPROXIMATE COST: $4500 for 2 courses (includes room) or $7700 for 3 courses (includes room) or $8700 for 4 courses. Books + food + miscellaneous + travel are not included in these figures.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: GPA of 3.0 required. Application and $200 deposit by April 15, 2008
