  • Quick Facts - 1994-95 and 1995-96 Intramural Champions. Consistently above all men's GPA average and all fraternity GPA average. Number 1 Kappa Sigma Scholarship chapter in 1992. 1993 South Carolina Scholarship chapter. 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994 Kappa Sigma Scholarship award for United States. Silver Bowl 1994, best overall grades 1996. Homecoming Soap Box Race winner 1996 and 1997. Most improved chapter 1997. Third largest fraternity in the nation. Famous Kappa Sigma brothers - Jimmy Buffet, Ted Turner, Bob Dole, and Robert Redford.

  • Mascot - Steam Boat Willy The Alligator
  • Magazine - The Star & Lamp
  • Philanthropies - PUSH (People Understanding the Severely Handicapped) created in 1977. It is the only fraternity with its own national outreach project. The first to raise over $ 3 million.
  • Quick Facts - Oldest national fraternity at Lander, chartered on February 28, 1970, making it the oldest national fraternity on campus. Among Pi Kappa Phi's most recent achievements - 1995, 1996, and 1999 Greek Week winner, top all men's fraternity for 1996, 1997, and 1999 Homecoming, Highest GPA for fraternities in nine of the last thirteen semesters. 1995 and 1996 Lander Man of the Year recipients were Pi Kapps. Pi Kappa Pi was the only men's fraternity to be nominated for 1997 Lander Organization of the Year. Pi Kappa Phi was presented a key to the city of Greenwood after raising money and building a $20,00 handicap accessible playground through PUSH.
