Lander University Disc Golf Course
The Bearcat shows off his form on hole number one
The department of Campus Recreation, a division of Student Affairs, is proud to present the Lander University Disc Golf Course, which is now ready for play. The course was installed and the the playing area was cleared out by the Lander University Grounds Department. However, the 18-hole course is still a work in progress, as the students in the Advanced Commercial Art course(ART 304/404 ), taught by professor Jim Slagle, will be making detailed tee signs, scorecards, course maps and custom discs this fall.
Until the students have finalized the signage, disc golf players can make their way around the course by paying attention to simple signs that will soon be added where needed. Players can also get a look at the course from this this temporary course map. Scroll over each hole to get a detailed description.
Disc golf discs and accessories can be purchased in the Bearcat Shop. Scorecards can also be found in the store or printed off right here .
There will eventually be two different tee boxes on some holes, separating the course into two levels of play - blue (easiest) and gold (harder) as seen on the scorecard below.
