  • New Asia Initiative

    Dr. Sung-Jae Park, recently retired from an international program leadership position at Ball State University, is now leading an Asia initiative for Lander University. He will develop strategies that will encourage students from Japan, Korea, China, and India to study at Lander for one or two years as a part of their degree programs. Dr. Park will also create some additional study abroad opportunities in Asia for Lander students.

  • Lander bids farewell to partner in international education

In six years, Richardson, recruited 34 Lander students for a semester of study at the University of Winchester in England where he was a faculty member. He is retiring as Winchester's director of Internationalization at the end of this academic year.

    Lander University's liaison at the University of Winchester, Dr. Roger Richardson, was on campus recently to inform students of opportunities to study abroad at his university in southern England. He conducted a series of short information sessions in classrooms, delivered a talk, which was open to all students, and hosted a short information session for students interested in graduate study at the University of Winchester.

  • Beijing students visit Lander University

    While many high school students travel to Greenwood to tour the Lander University campus, this group of teenagers had to cross an ocean just to get here. In February, a group of 14 high school exchange students from Beijing, China, arrived at Lander to take a closer look at the university.
