The Art of Leadership

      What is The Art of Leadership?

  • The Art of Leadership is a student art competition based on leadership and personal expression/imagination.  Students will be given a list of ten to fifteen pre-chosen leadership quotes from a diverse variety of people.  The students from around the university would select a quote and then visually depict it either through a graphic design, hand drawing, photograph, or some sort of 3D piece.


    What do the winners receive?

  • The submissions that come in first, second, and third place will receive monetary prizes.  First place would receive $150, second place $100, and third place $50 for a total of $300 in prize money.

Contest Rules:
1. Artwork is not to exceed 20”x30”

2. All submitted work must be the original creative work of an Lander University student or group of Lander University students. Artwork that has been taken from other sources will not be accepted.

3. All current Lander University Students are eligible to enter. We will accept up to two submissions per entrant.

4. Artwork may be submitted in any of the following media: painting, drawing, mixed media, and photography.

5. Entries are due by Wednesday, October 25, 2017 either in person or by email. If turning in entry by email attachment, you must also submit the signature section below by the deadline.

Criteria:
Artwork will be judged by a panel of faculty and staff based on the following criteria:
1. Visual Appeal
2. Incorporation of Quote
3. Craftsmanship
