Erin Garland

About Me

My name is Erin Garland, and I am a Freshman Admissions Counselor. I am originally from Seneca, SC, but moved to Greenwood in 2010 to attend Lander University and fell in love. In 2014 I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Lander and am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Recreation and Sports Administration from Western Kentucky University. In 2015 I began my career at Lander University in the Division of Student Affairs and I am excited to continue my journey as an Admissions Counselor.

While attending Lander I was a Presidential Ambassador, President of my sorority, and an Orientation Leader for two years. My junior year I was awarded Greek Woman of the Year and during my senior year I was named 2014 Homecoming Queen, received the Boyce M Grier award in athletics and was honored with the President’s Award. During my time at Lander I was given opportunities to grow personally and professionally. I look forward to sharing my love for Lander with new students! Go Bearcats!
