Blackboard Upgrade - Summer 2014

Lander has completed the migration to a new version of Blackboard Learn.  All courses are now being offered on the new system.

Faculty that need access to courses prior to the 2013-2014 academic term can use the "Retired Blackboard System" link below to access the old system. If you need assistance retrieving contact, you may contact Karen Minter or Keith McCaslan.

Logging into Blackboard Directly

We strongly encourage faculty and students to log into Blackboard Learn through the MyLander Campus Portal

If you need to access Blackboard Learn directly (not through MyLander): 

  •  Your Username is the prefix of your Lander University email address.  (The prefix is the part before  Make sure you don't add the or you will not be able to log in.)
  • Your Password is your Bearcat PIN number.  If you do not know your PIN number, please contact the ITS Help Desk at 864.388.8234 for assistance

Blackboard Mobile Learn App

The Blackboard Mobile Learn app is now available for both Android and iOS users to download for free from their respective app stores.  When users first open the app and search for their institution, they will be prompted to log in via their Blackboard user credentials.  For Lander users, this log in information is the first part of your Lander issued email address and your Bearcat Web PIN.

Android and iOS users will be prompted to purchase for a one-time price of $1.99 via an in-app purchase.  BlackBerry and Windows Mobile are  not supported at this time.

Using Blackboard Mobile Learn is optional to faculty and students.
