Visiting Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice
Lander University invites applications for a two-year Visiting Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice to begin in August 2016. A Ph.D. is preferred by time of appointment. The candidate will be expected to teach introductory and advanced undergraduate criminal justice classes related to departmental needs as well as their own areas of specialization. The ability to contribute to the minor in public administration is preferred. The candidate will be expected to advise students, provide university service, and engage in research and professional activities.
Criminal justice is a growing area of interest for Lander students, with an enrollment totaling 92 students in fall 2015.
