  • Lander and 10 other schools compete in psychology quiz bowl

    The teams from Lander University and The Citadel tied for fifth place among the 11 colleges and universities who competed in the annual quiz bowl, one of the main attractions of the South Carolina Psychological Association's Academic Day hosted by Lander on Nov. 9. Teams of students faced off in two rounds answering five questions in each of seven psychology categories. Points were awarded for correct answers and the team with the highest point total at the end of the competition was declared the winner.

  • Lander and two other colleges square off in sudden death psychology quiz bowl

    Teams of students representing Lander University, College of Charleston and Furman University squared off in a sudden death playoff to decide the winner of the annual quiz bowl that was the main attraction of the South Carolina Psychological Association's Academic day on Nov. 5, at the former Inn on the Square in Uptown Greenwood. College of Charleston won the showdown with Furman finishing second and Lander, third.
