Bearcat Anglers

Bearcat Anglers

The Lander University Bearcat Angler program was founded in 2011. We have experienced a large growth and following since Spring of 2015. The University has been a great support system for the club and it is a great way for students to learn leadership and life skills while perfecting their skills.

The Bearcat Anglers compete in the B.A.S.S. college national championship and the FLW college national championship and will continue to do so. We compete in the FLW Yeti College Series and the B.A.S.S Carhartt College series. We also are active in community service and speak to local high school anglers about what it takes to fish on the collegiate level.

At this time we offer housing grants to those chosen to be on the team.
