About Me

I was born and raised in Cleveland, OH, and graduated from the University of Akron in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and dual minors in Child Development and Family Development. I went on to receive my Master’s degree in Higher Education from Geneva College, just north of Pittsburgh, in May of 2016. During my college years, I was very involved as a member of the Student Government, doing research in the Psychology department, serving in various roles at my church, and as a student worker at the campus recreation center. I also spent all of my summers (from my freshman year, all the way through graduate school) working at a Christian camp. Outside of work I enjoy reading, writing, and a good cup of coffee or tea. I love to spend time with my friends and family, and will always be a Cleveland sports fan (though I have been known to root for the Pittsburgh Penguins).

As a result of my own college experiences, I sought a career that allows me to help college students in discovering their potential, and increasing their understanding of self and the world around them. I joined the Bearcat community in August of 2016 as an Academic Success Advisor, and am so excited to serve freshman students in this new role!
