Enrollment Verification
To conveniently serve our students, Lander University has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse (NSLC) to act as its agent to verify the enrollment status of students and to process deferments. This organization works with many colleges and universities across the United States. The NSLC allows universities to provide the most up-to-date information to lenders, insurance companies, and other organizations that require students to supply enrollment verifications.
Students: We have provided the National Student Clearinghouse with enrollment status information since the summer of 2002. The information is submitted three times each semester, and the first submission is not until after the second week of school. If you need verification for any enrollment during the previous two years, it is always available. To obtain a free Enrollment Verification Certificate, please use this link to Bearcat Web.
Please click on the Student Services and Financial Aid link to locate the option for Enrollment Verification. Please use this link to locate the National Student Clearinghouse Website. If you do not have a Bearcat Web Password, you must compete the Enrollment Verification Form, and then submit to Lander University, Office of the Registrar, Campus Post Office Box 6008, Greenwood, SC 29649 or fax to (864) 388-8028. Please allow at least two weeks to process the Enrollment Verification. The form is in a portable document format (pdf). You will need Adobe's Acrobat Reader to view and print the form to a laser printer. If you do not already have Acrobat Reader, you may go to www.Adobe.com and download your free copy.
This Enrollment Verification Certificate can be presented to health insurance agencies, housing authorities, consumer product companies, banks, and etc. when asked to provide official evidence of enrollment at Lander University. However, Lenders will not accept this certificate for Deferments or Anticipated Graduation Dates.
