Bachelor of Science in Psycholgy with Counseling Emphasis

The curriculum in the counseling emphasis approaches psychology as a science and provides the education graduates will need to work in entry-level positions or to go on to graduate studies.  In addition to learning the current theories underlying areas such as personality, human development, and abnormal behavior, you will also be introduced to the basic skills needed to conduct interviews, write case histories, formulate case diagnoses, conduct basic psychological testing and formulate a treatment plan for various psychological problems.
