Welcome to the College of Education at Lander University. Our college is made up of three academic departments:
The Department of Psychology offers majors in psychology, psychology with a counseling emphasis and psychology with a developmental emphasis, and minors in psychology and child and family studies.
The Department of Physical Education and Exercise Studies offers three curricula of study: physical education with teacher certification, exercise science, and athletic training.
The Department of Teacher Education offers majors leading to teacher certification in early childhood education, early childhood education with a Montessori emphasis, elementary education and special education.
Faculty members from the College of Education work closely with faculty from other areas to offer teacher certification in art, English, history, mathematics, music and Spanish. In addition, master's degrees are offered in elementary education and art education.
