COPYRIGHT
The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.
STATEMENT OF POLICY
It is the policy of Lander University to respect the ownership of all intellectual
material protected by copyright laws. The University does not condone copying instead of purchasing
copyrighted works where such copying would constitute an infringement under copyright law. It is
the policy of Lander University that the user (faculty, staff, or student) secure permission to
copy whenever it is legally necessary. The University and its faculty, staff, and students should
make a conscientious effort to comply with these guidelines.
