April 07, 2016

“Consider the Moment” is the title of a musical production that will be presented by Lander University’s Department of Music, and performed by the University and Old Main Singers, on Thursday, April 14.

The program will feature selections by such composers as Franz Joseph Haydn, Johann Sebastian Bach, Antonio Lotti, Charles Villers Stanford and more.

Associate professor of music Dr. Charles Neufeld will be the conductor. In explaining the theme of the concert, he said “The music was chosen in an attempt to free each listener’s imagination, to mark important events in the history of humanity, and lead willing listeners toward encounters with the art of music they may not otherwise consider.”
