Lander Employees Assist with Local Food Project

Lander group at Stop Hunger Now

A group of Lander University employees took part in a recent community project called “Stop Hunger Now,” helping to pack bags containing 17,000 meals. The effort was sponsored by the Greenwood and Emerald Rotary clubs and other groups. Lander was represented by, from left, Van Taylor, director of Development; Kimberly Chitwood, assistant to Lander’s president; Myra Greene, director of Alumni Affairs and Annual Giving; Teri Lawson, assistant professor of nursing; Lander volleyball coach Ashley Stathas; and financial aid counselor Rodney Jones.
