Beard will play a challenging program that includes “Concerto for Trumpet in D and Organ,” by J.S. Bach and Antonio Vivaldi; “Concerto for Trumpet,” by Henri Tomasi; “Concerto for Trumpet in E-flat,” by Franz Joseph Haydn; and “Sonata for Trumpet and Piano,” by Eric Ewazen.
