Music students are eligible to apply for academic scholarships, work-study jobs, loans, etc., through the Office of Financial Aid. Some of these awards are based on need, and some on merit. All prospective students are strongly urged to contact them for complete information.
Music Scholarships at Lander University

The Lenna Hall Clifford Scholarship is the University's newest music scholarship. It is awarded to a music major who is studying string instruments or piano.

The Suzanne Lander Stone Scholarship is awarded to an incoming music major of strong abilities and commitment to music, and may be renewed annually upon the recommendation of the faculty. Applicants must audition on one of the scheduled dates.

The Pete G. Kerhoulas Scholarship is awarded to an incoming music major or a student of another major with exceptional musical ability who plans to participate in Lander music activities. It is a one-year award.

The Scofield Scholarship is awarded to an incoming freshman with significant vocal potential. It is a one-year award.

The Nat F. White Instrumental Music Scholarship is awarded to a Lander musician that is a member of the Lander Wind Ensemble and/or the Lander Jazz Ensemble. The recipient can be a music major or a non-music major, and can be either a freshman or upperclassman. A student may receive the scholarship more than once. This scholarship is awarded upon the recommendation of the instrumental faculty.

The Fine Arts Scholarships are awarded to students of all music performance areas based on talent and potential. They are renewable annually.

The Lenti-Wydra Keyboard Scholarships are awarded to deserving keyboard majors based on talent and potential in the field.
