Students who major in mathematics and/or computer information systems at Lander learn their subject in small classes and can receive individual attention if they encounter difficulties.
The student body at Lander is a diverse one. Full-time enrollment is approximately 2,800 with a student body representing 30 states and 17 foreign countries.

We have majors from such diverse locations as New York, the Caribbean Basin, and Europe, as well as most counties in South Carolina.
Due to the size of the classes and the importance placed on teaching, students at Lander University can count on not being just a number, but rather a valued member of the educational community.
