Department of Mass
Communications & Theatre
Where can I use this degree?
After graduating from Lander's Department of Mass Communication and Theatre, you might find yourself anchoring the evening news in Chicago, writing the next Super Bowl commercial at an advertising firm in New York, gracing the stages of Los Angeles or taking over the airwaves at a radio station in Atlanta. Lander's mock broadcast studio, student newspaper, student literary magazine, and knowledgeable faculty provide mass communication students with the expertise they need for successful careers in public relations, advertising, print journalism, TV, and radio. And with a 600-seat auditorium, scene shop and graphics lab, our theatre program provides practical experience in producing live theatre.
