Technology Resource Assistance Center for Students

 

TRACS Location

 

TRACS is located on the second floor of Laura Lander Hall (the building with the bell tower) in room LL 202B.

 

 

TRACS Hours of Operation

 

Hours for the Fall semester begin on August 31st.  

 

Monday through Friday from 8:30AM to 5PM.      

 

 

Services Provided
Network and Internet Access Support

 

If you need assistance accessing the internet through Lander's network, which includes problems with Cisco Clean Access, please bring your laptop to the TRACS center.  If you feel this is a problem specific to your room or if you have a desktop, TRACS Tech may be sent to your dorm to diagnose and repair the problem if necessary.

 

 

Software Support

 

Lander provides limited software support to students:

  • We provide network connection support for Lander's wireless network and residence hall network.

 

  • We provide support for Cisco Clean Access, Windows updates, and virus/spyware removal.
 
Hardware Support

 

Lander provides very limited hardware support for students.  The technicians in TRACS can diagnose many hardware issues and give recommendations on repair strategies.

 

 

Lander Gateway Laptop Services Provided

 

If you are having trouble with your Gateway laptop purchased through Lander's partnership with Gateway please come visit us at TRACS.
