Lander's Department of Information Technology Services is pleased to announce the creation of a new helpdesk for student laptops. The Technology Resource Assistance Center for Students will now provide assistance for student laptops and network connections in the residence halls.
TRACS Mission Statement
It is the mission of the TRACS to provide quality support to Lander University students with a high degree of customer service and technical expertise and to develop and enhance the technical skills of Lander University students.

TRACS has resumed normal operating hours. We are available from 9AM - 5PM, Monday through Friday.

There is still time to sign up for the TRACS NCAAF '09 Tournament. Sign up sheets and details are available in TRACS.

TRACS is pleased to announce the launch of TRACS Connect IT. Technicians from TRACS are now able to connect to your laptop and assist you remotely from TRACS. We are able to fix certain connection issues, Clean Access Trouble, Antivirus trouble, and more while you sit in your residence hall. To make use of this service simply call TRACS at 8171 or Thomas Henry at 8151 during normal hours.

A new instruction guide, for popping your email using an email client, is on the way. With the switch to new email servers a new guide is necessary.
The old guide is available here and can be used to download your email messages off of the old email server. We recommend doing this because the old email servers will go down for good this December(12/08).
