Financial Aid
You can purchase a laptop with your financial aid in the following manner:
1. Check your student account to verify that you have an overage in financial aid to cover the cost of the computer (you can do this by using Bearcat Web or by contacting the Financial Aid Office http://www.lander.edu/finaid.
2. If you have an overage in financial aid then you should apply for financing through the laptop manufacturer (be sure to read the details first). This will allow you to order the computer immediately and pay for the system when the Business Office issues a refund check to the student in the amount of the overage.
Private Loans
Parents or Students can contact private banking institutions in order to obtain a private loan to pay for the cost of the laptop.
