Pasha Franklin
Chemistry major

A member of the Lander Dance Company, Franklin has been taking dance lessons since the age of four. In her spare time she teaches ballet to 11- and 12-year olds. “Everyone needs a form of expression and dancing is mine,” she said. She is planning a career in pharmacy with the goal of helping produce lower cost medications and advancing the fight against AIDS. This summer Franklin represented South Carolina in the 2008 Miss Black USA pageant in Las Vegas, Nev.
