Many corporations, foundations, organizations and individuals recognize that the arts complement and enhance the “quality of life”, aid in economic development and enrich the quality of our children’s education.  By choosing to support the GLPA Concert Series and GLPA Outreach Program they assist us each year in serving over 13,000 students, educators, and residents from the Greenwood community and the surrounding area.    

For over 60 years many people of every age, stage and walk of life have given the support needed to continue this performing arts series.  We appreciate their generous contributions and ask for your continued support.  

Special thanks to Lander University, a GLPA partner, in bringing world-renowned performers to the Lander Cultural Center stage. Lander helps make a quality concert season possible for Greenwood area residents and school children by providing office space and a state-of-the-art theater complete with rigging, lighting, sound equipment and dressing and make-up rooms.   Lander provides a technical director and staff as well as part-time technicians trained in Lander’s theatre arts program, and the university contributes partial funding for the GLPA director’s salary and full funding for student assistants. In addition, Lander’s Office of University Relations coordinates the design and printing of the GLPA brochure as well as publicity for each performance The Lander Printing Services assists with preparing the programs for printing for each performance.
