INTRICATE INTERLACINGS Sept 1—Oct 9 |

Objects that honor the origin of the materials from which they are made . Sculptor Kim Keats uses bark from trees along with basketry interlacing techniques to construct her intricate forms. To create contrast, materials such as twigs and bones are added along with other objects to create areas of interest that support the artist’s visual concept. |

Samuel Lander ~ His Life & Legacy Oct 19—Dec 4 |

Samuel Lander was the founder of Williamston Female College which upon moving to Greenwood in 1904, became known as Lander College. Designed to complement the premiere of the documentary S. Lander ~ His Life and Legacy, the exhibition will feature artifacts from Lander's life including personal journals on loan from the Caroliniana Library as well as a collection of original etters from 1858, rare painting of and by the Lander family and many other interesting items. |
