The Margaret M. Bryant Award recognizes a senior majoring in a humanities discipline who plans to enroll in graduate school and who will represent Lander University well.

Laura Lander Hall, on the left, is the rennovated Greenwood Hall and houses the Division of Mathematics and Computer Science. On the right is the Science Complex which houses the Division of Biological and Physical Sciences.

The Dessie Dean Pitts Humanities Award is named in honor of Lander alumna Dessie Dean Pitts and is given annually to the student who writes the best nonfiction essay published in New Voices , Lander's essay journal.
