Anni Pajunen
Political science major and member of women's tennis team

Communication counts when you’re an international student. A resident of Finland, Pajunen keeps in touch with her family through e-mail, instant messaging and voice chat programs on her laptop. Her mother also checks the Lander Web site regularly to keep up with what's happening on campus. The recipient of a political science scholarship, Pajunen is among 52 students from 17 countries who are enrolled at Lander.
