    Family and friends gathered at Lander University on April 21 to witness the spring induction of 38 students into Lander’s chapter of the Alpha Chi National College Honor Scholarship Society. The inductees are graduating seniors in the top 10 percent of their class.

  • Community invited to Lander’s Bearcat Fan Day celebration

    Lander University will hold its annual Bearcat Fan Day in Uptown Greenwood on Thursday, June 19, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The festivities will take place in the shadow of the university’s 11-foot tall Bearcat topiary near Countybank Plaza, on Main Street.
  • Lander’s Young Faculty Teaching Award winner knows the ins and outs of politics and government

    Dr. Chad Kinsella, assistant professor of political science at Lander University, caught the “politics bug” while he was a student at Georgetown College, but as deeply as he has become involved in the history and workings of government and politics over the years, he harbors no ambitions for public office. Teaching and research into the broad spectrum of political geography are his main academic interests.
