    In an effort to enhance the fan experience at Dolny Stadium, Lander officials have agreed to the sale of beer and wine for 11 baseball games during the 2017 season, beginning March 3.
  • Kat Finkbeiner Recognized For Loyalty To Lander University With Alumni Award

    Lander University’s Alumni Association has selected Greenwood native Kat Laye Finkbeiner as recipient of its Grace Iler Norman Award. The award is presented to a Lander alumna or alumnus who has shown loyalty and significant achievement within the Alumni Association. It is considered the highest honor bestowed by the Alumni Association and is awarded annually only when a candidate meets the award criteria.

    Lander University’s Alumni Association has selected Greenwood native and longtime Spartanburg resident Frank Ridlehoover as recipient of its Distinguished Alumni of the Year Award. The award is presented annually to an alumna or alumnus who has distinguished themselves in their chosen field; is involved with civic, cultural, educational, and/or church activities; and has manifested special interest in Lander University with their time, talents and resources.
  • Pianist Alex Crosett to Perform at Lander University, Feb. 21

    The community is invited to a free concert featuring pianist Alex Crosett on Tuesday, February 21 at Lander University. Part of the university's Artist Recital Series, the performance features a beautiful blend of Classical, Baroque, Romantic and Impressionistic composers including Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Debussy and Copland.

    During a brief ceremony today at Lander University, Brig. Gen. Darrell J. Guthrie, incoming commander of the 104th Division, recognized freshman Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) student Jordan House, of Gilbert, as an outstanding cadet by presenting her with a challenge coin.
