    Whether it’s enjoying a tasty breakfast with co-workers, taking a campus tour, or reconnecting with old college friends at a Bearcat baseball game or a reunion dinner, all former Lander graduates are urged to come back to school this spring for the university’s annual alumni week.

  • Lander University Equestrian Center uses horse therapy for veterans battling PTSD

    Lander University is evaluating an equine-therapy pilot program that focuses on a holistic approach that helps with the healing process of mental health disorders. Herd2Human uses activities such as horse interaction, meditation, intuitive writing and talk circles. The university is considering offering the equine-therapy program as a community outreach for veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

  • Two Lander students place in 2017 PBC Art Exhibition

    Lander University senior Sammantha Bailey and freshman Stacie Lazo took two of the top honors in the third annual 2017 Peach Belt Conference Arts Exhibition. The virtual exhibition, open to all students from the PBC’s eight schools, featured 73 pieces that included ceramics, digital art, drawing, installation, painting, printmaking, public art and sculpture.

    Filmmakers, let one of Hollywood’s top screenwriters write for you. Chris Columbus, Bob Gale and Steven E. de Souza have written legendary films including Back to the Future, Die Hard, 48 Hours and others. This spring they’ve written lines specifically for entrants in Lander University’s 2WK Short Film Competition.
