Subscribe to a Calendar Using Microsoft Outlook 2007

Would you like to keep a synchronized copy of one or more of Lander's web calendars in Outlook?  An Internet Calendar Subscription keeps your Outlook copy of a Lander web calendar (a Google calendar) updated. Once set up, Outlook will periodically check your Internet Calendar Subscriptions for updates and, if any are found, they are downloaded to the calendar copy in Outlook.

(Note: You must have Outlook 2007 to utilize this "sync" feature.)

PLEASE NOTE: Do not just click on the iCal buttonbutton. If you do, the file will try to open in Outlook as a Calendar Snapshot, which will not be updated with changes.

  1. In Outlook, on the Tools menu, click Account Settings.
  2. On the Internet Calendars tab, click New.
  3. Paste the Internet Web address you copied in step 1, by pressing CTRL+V.
  4. Click Add.
  5. In the Folder Name box, type the name of the calendar as you want it to appear in Outlook, and then click OK.

To view the calendar you just subscribed to, click on Calendar folder/title bar within Outlook. Your Internet Calendar should appear under the "Other Calendars" section. Put a check mark next to the calendar to view it.
