Teacher Workshops Currently Available
The Center for Economic Education has now held teacher workshops for the past four years addressing a variety of Economic and Social Studies Issues. Previous workshops have addressed the issues of international economics and trade, the transition from a command economy to a market economy, and many other relevant topics. To make arrangements for one or more of the workshops currently available, simply contact me to set up a date and time that is convenient for your organization. Check back often for more information about workshops and other upcoming events provided with the cooperation of the South Carolina Council on Economic Education.
Recent Center Activities
The Center for Economic Education welcomes Linda Dolny to the SC Council Board of Directors.
The Center for Economic Education and Lander University hosted an Economic Summit on it's
campus September 22, 2005. The SC Council for Economic Education and LU Center for Economic
Education brought community and business leaders face-to-face with teachers and students in an
effort to find new ways to present economic and financial education in the area schools.
