Human Anatomy and Physiology:
Lander University, a public comprehensive university located in
the upstate region of South Carolina, seeks to fill a non-tenure track position in human anatomy
and human physiology. Position begins August 2008.
Required: MS degree in biology with graduate course work and research or teaching
experience in human anatomy and physiology; ability to use computer technology to support teaching
and scholarship; and excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Preferred: PhD with strong background in human anatomy and physiology.
Rank: Either Instructor or Assistant Professor, depending upon degree held
and qualifications.
Responsibilities: Teach a one-semester human anatomy and physiology course,
human anatomy labs, and human physiology labs; coordinate multiple lab sections and direct
part-time faculty; and advise freshman students interested in pre-nursing.
