Summer Program to Review Information Necessary for Transition
The Lander University SPRINT Program provides an opportunity to get ahead during the second
term of summer school by earning 6 hours of college credit, by becoming familiar with campus and
college life, and by reviewing skills necessary for success in college.
SPRINT is designed to:
1. admit graduating high school seniors who fall just below our admissions standards .
2. help students structure a strong and comprehensive base on which to build a successful college career
As a participant in the SPRINT Program, you can see what college life is really like. You will receive a thorough review in specially targeted skills and will have the opportunity to meet other students, who, like yourself, are interested in improving their chances for academic success in a four-year institution. Special feature s of SPRINT include the opportunity to participate in leadership and team-building activities, educational games, debates, mentoring, and informal get-togethers. After your successful completion of the program, you will have a new sense of accomplishment as well as six hours of college credit.
