Lander University welcomes you back for a weekend of reminiscing and reconnecting
with your alma mater

Start you weekend off with golf at Greenwood Country Club.
At the Captain's Choice outing, having fun is more important than your
handicap. Cost is $40 and includes lunch, golf fees, and a goodie bag. Lunch begins at
12:30 and tee times are between 1:00 - 2:00pm.
Saturday, October 24, 2009
Reunion Classes - At 10am the classes of 1949, 1959, 1969, and 1979 their reunions
in the Chanlder Physical Education and Exercise Studies Center.
Lunch - The noon luncheon is open to all alumni. The class of 1959 will
officially become Lander Golden Girls and Guys. Cost is $12 per person.
Entertainment - There premiere of the movie "S. Lander His Life and Legacy"
will be at 2:00pm in the Cultural Center Auditorium. Produced by Paul Crutcher, Lander
locksmith and Dr. Robert Stevenson, chair of Lander’s Mass Communication and Theater Department the
movie is about the Reverend Samuel Lander, Founder of Lander University. The event is free to
all alumni that attend the luncheon. Reunion Weekend also coincides with Parents Weekend, so
there’ll be plenty of music and entertainment after the alumni luncheon.
