ONLINE GIVING AND EVENT TICKET PURCHASES
Giving to Lander and event registration has never been easier! Your gift or ticket
purchases can be made using a credit card with our online form. For Tickets,
input the event name and all names in your party within the "Gift Comment"
section. To contribute to a named scholarship, input the specific
scholarship within the "Gift Comment" section. Click on the link below to get

MATCHING GIFT COMPANIES
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, please click the link below and enter your employer's name.

completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest. The impact of your gift to our school may
be doubled or possibly tripled! Some companies match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.

With The Lander Foundation's recent acquisition of the 22.7-acre Greenwood Plaza property on Montague Avenue, Lander University has a unique opportunity to transform its campus, and you can be part of that transformation. The property, located just two blocks from the Lander campus, will be developed into a recreation, wellness and sports complex that will serve Lander and the Greenwood community.

SECURITIES
Listed stocks and bonds that have increased in value are excellent gifts, assuming the
securities have been held for the required length of time.
REAL ESTATE
Property that has increased in value is a wise donation because the full value of the gift is
tax deductible. The donor's profit will not be taxable as gain.
LIFE INSURANCE
The cash-surrendered value of a life insurance policy is immediately tax deductible.
Later gifts made to pay the premium are also deductible. More importantly, the donor has the
satisfaction of providing The Lander Foundation with a sizeable gift.
TRUSTS AND ANNUITIES
Cash, marketable securities, or real estate may be used to establish a charitable trust or
annuity from which the donor would receive income for life. Upon the donor's death, the
assets would go to The Lander Foundation.
BEQUESTS
Gifts willed to The Lander Foundation are of mutual benefit to The Foundation and the
donor.
NAMING OPPORTUNITIES
Opportunities abound for benefactors to leave a legacy of caring and commitment to the students who will expand and enrich the empires of their minds at Lander University. One significant opportunity is in the naming of selected buildings, classrooms, laboratories and other areas of campus in honor of individuals or groups. Not only will the names of those so honored live on in perpetuity, but donors will know they have played a significant part in undergirding the good work on this university.
